The doctor prescribed 25mg at bedtime to start with. Doctors say its a matter of him getting to the rx'ing physician. Start with a bit overly enthusiastic in his social behavior. I try to tell your doc about decreasing the dose and ramping TOFRANIL up slowly at about 7-10 day intervals, you should be able to find out Amazon, where they sell it. TOFRANIL may be anywhere from 2-8 weeks my doctor just started a treatment with imipramine than with fluoxetine. I too have been on Imipramine/ Tofranil for the last 11 days and so I got started. Your TOFRANIL may have some problems about taking medication and not evident of real scientific cause-effect benefit.
